The young French architect Marc Fornes who animates his agency THEVERYMANY based in New York.
Marc Fornes has collaborated during 3 years with Zaha Hadid, Ross Lovegrove and SOM. He is one of the leading figures in the development of protocols for calculation programs applied to the design and manufacture. This young generation of architects, part of the permanent collection of the Georges Pompidou Museum and the FRAC Centre, work in the heart of a modeleur software called scripting, which allows to create geometric structures.
Marc Fornes also designed large-scale prototypes in the United States and in 2008 he organized the European section for the Architecture Biennial in Beijing.
He has been invited around the world giving lectures including the MoMA, has showed his work at the GUGGENHEIM and was invited this year as fellow at the TED Prize.
His latest work was presenting the City of New York in 3D, project commissioned by AUDI.
His current projects are inquiries by museums in New York, and architecture contests won for the cities of Redondo Beach (California), Crèvecoeur (Missouri), Portland (Oregon), St. Louis (Missouri) and the Botanical Garden of Denver (Colorado), the Borden Park in Edmonton (Canada), Fenton Hall, University of Oregon...
