Inception Gallery presents original works by great Pop Art artists — Keith Haring, Robert Indiana, Richard Pettibone, Peter Phillips, Mel Ramos, James Rosenquist, Kenny Scharf, Tom Wesselmann, and Andy Warhol.

This artistic movement born in Great Britain in the middle of the 1950s had a great influence in the United States from the end of this decade. Mass production, advertising, comic books and other elements have contributed to the development of this opposition to elitist culture and industrialization, by rendering any form or representation into a work of art.

The techniques and themes extracted from mass culture marked an era in the history of art and changed the way of appreciating it to develop a new conception still appreciated today: Pop Art and the cult at the object.

In continuity, Pop Art has also influenced the sources of inspiration for artists from countries that have experienced a considerable economic boom over the past 15 years. This is the case in Brazil and China, where a large public identifying with 20th century folk art evokes the economic boom of the 1960s.

Internationally renowned contemporary artists such as the French Richard Orlinski and the American of Puerto Rican origin, Melvin Martinez, present a selection of their works, in the continuity of Pop Art.
